Bruton Town Council – Retrofit Project Officer

Help deliver a net-zero Bruton! Retrofit Project Officer, Bruton Town Council

Part-time (14 hrs per week), 17-month contract, £10.44-£11.53 per hour

In this new post, you will provide administrative support to our new professionally qualified retrofit co-ordinator. This could mean dealing with public enquiries, booking appointments, keeping records and preparing presentation and publicity materials, as well as other duties.

Our retrofit project, funded by Somerset County Council’s Climate Emergency Fund, helps local homeowners radically improve the energy performance of their property.

You won’t need any specialist knowledge, but you should be a quick and willing learner, with a good general education, and an interest in and commitment to assisting the community in reducing its carbon footprint. You will be a good communicator, and as part of a very small team you will need to be able to use your initiative and be self-motivating.
