Wanted: A person who loves putting things (any things!) in order; likes administrative work; has a really good level of English and can take accurate minutes.
Our perfect someone will also enjoy being the first point of contact for people visiting the Town Hall, is not afraid of a computer and will happily learn how to use the software packages we use to run stuff such as the parish council finances and the council website.

Based at the Town Hall, this is a part-time role for 12 hours per week, and is very likely to include some evening work because our council meetings take place on Tuesday evenings, and our perfect someone will be expected to deputise for the parish clerk (after suitable training, of course) when he is unable to attend meetings. Starting salary is £11:00 per hour moving up to £11.45 per hour after 6 months.
