Isle Abbotts Parish Council – Parish Clerk & RFO

Isle Abbotts Parish Council are seeking to appoint a Parish Clerk/Responsible/Financial Officer (RFO)


The appointment is home based and part time for approximately 3-4 hours  per week. Payment is monthly and in line with the national recommended salary scale commensurate with experience.


Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training can be obtained through SALC.


Duties include:

Organising meetings of the Council.

Administration duties.

Attending meetings held on the first Wednesday every two months.

Preparing agendas, minutes and dealing with the Council’s correspondence.

As RFO, the Clerk will also be responsible for all aspects of financial administration of the Council.
