Huish Episcopi PC – Clerk & RFO

Applications are invited for the position of Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer for Huish Episcopi Parish Council. Part time 12 hours per week, averaged over the year, also includes attendance at evening meetings (currently monthly and open to the public).
The successful applicant will be able to:

● manage all aspects of the Parish Council meetings

● handle the Council’s correspondence and accounts. Computer literacy with knowledge of Word and Excel, along with a flexible approach to work is essential.

He or she will be CiLCA qualified or willing to working towards the CiLCA qualification.
Working from home, a dedicated laptop is supplied and some office storage facilities are also required (a standard four drawer filing cabinet is provided).

Salary: NALC/NJC (2022) SCP 16 -20 pro rata (approx. £12.36-£13.38 per hour) negotiable, subject to qualifications and experience and reviewed annually.
