Evercreech Parish Council are seeking an organised, forward thinking and adaptable individual to work as Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer.

The Clerk will be responsible for all aspects of finance and administration of the Parish Council and will be required to provide statutory advice and implement decisions across the complete range of Council’s activities. This post provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to the life of our active community

In addition to the 12 hours per week, the post holder will be required to attend the Parish Council meetings which currently fall on the first Tuesday of each month. The meetings start at 7.00pm for a maximum of 2 hours.

The post is subject to a six-month probationary period and the successful applicant will hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) or be willing to undertake the necessary training to obtain the qualification as soon as possible. The Council can provide other necessary training as required.
