An experienced part time Parish Clerk is now sought for Curry Rivel
The main purpose of the role is to:
- Ensure that the instructions of the council as a local authority are carried out effectively
- To assist in the formation of policies and practices to ensure we have all the information required to run efficiently and make effective decisions
-Be the main finance officer and produce timely records of all meetings.
-Act as the first/ main point of contact with outside bodies and members of the public, representing the Council and for distributing information on our behalf,
Key skills include good literacy, IT, numeracy and an ability to get on with a diverse spectrum of people. Membership of the society of local council clerks is desirable but not essential.
