Clerk and RFO to Ansford Parish Council

Ansford Parish Council seeks a new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. This is a part time job equating to 8 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be expected to work from their home. IT equipment and a phone will be provided. (The current budget allows for the purchase of new IT equipment).

There will be a requirement to have a 4 drawer filing cabinet at home as well as 2 storage boxes and other regular use files.

It is preferable for the successful candidate to have had previous experience as a parish clerk though this is not a pre-requisite. SALC training will be arranged if required

and there will be a handover period from the departing clerk. Standard clerk work activities will include formal minutes, agendas, accounts and Council correspondence.

The salary will be as per the National recommended pay scale New SCP 11 which equates to £10.97p per hour however the Council will consider a higher grade if the applicants experience warrants it.
