CiLCA – Part 3

The course is ideal for anyone wanting to undertake the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) who already has some foundation and understanding of Local Councils and the work involved. All four sessions will be led by David Mears PSLCC, Clerk to Bridgwater Town Council.
The course is split into four sessions, spaced apart, allowing time for delegates to get started on the different units of the CiLCA Portfolio Guide.
Having a CiLCA qualified Clerk will help towards a council gaining the General Power of Competence and achieving the Quality or Quality Gold level in the Local Council Award Scheme.
Course Outline:
Part One: Introduction to CiLCA, EMMA and Unit One. (20th Sep 2019)
Part Two: Short Q&A on Day One, then Unit Two and Unit Three. (18th Oct 2019)
Part Three: Short Q&A on Day Two, then Unit Three and Unit Four. (29th Nov 2019)
Part Four: Short Q&A on Day Three, then Unit Four, Unit Five and the journey ahead. (20th Dec 2019)
Lunch and refreshments provided.

Cost for all four sessions £275 (SALC members) £375 (non-members). Cost for individual parts available on application.
